The Education as the Practice of Freedom Project provides our students with purposeful and structured out-of-class educational experiences. The co-curricular programming is designed to reinforce the declared learning goals of their freshman seminar and core curriculum courses. From those courses, common themes and learning goals that challenge the students to think critically about: who they are, their goals and aspirations, and their emotional, mental, and physical well-being, are used to develop the objectives of our the freshman co-curricular events. These experiences are to designed with the hopes of exposing our students to authors, physicians, and philosophers and … perspectives that we hope will motivate our students to pursue their purpose with passion.
